Done with the project, eureka!

081215_Mark

Pictures added to wiki in order to better demonstrate our arguments, plus some sections were revamped.

Thomas, Kjartan & Mark added stuff to playtesting, while still more or less fresh in the memory. Still lacks implementation of questionnaire and times of different test persons during the different rounds.

Hey guys,
I have put in a couple of bids on the design documentation. Can't wait to see yours :) Remember… it only takes two minutes so you might aswell do it… do it now (you should imagine this said with the voice of a certain californian governor)

Huge revamp of the playtesting page… Now it follows the basic structure and contain the plan for Tuesday's test. Still need the online survey and booked rooms, which will be taken care of at monday…

Thomas,

I have outlines a schema for you in the playtesting part of the wiki. You can fill in the blanks that make sense (if you need inspiration look at the previous one)
And you are welcome to delete the parts that you don't need. The important thing is that we get your input so that the test results doesn't go to waste.

Restructured the wiki in order to reflect hand-in, complete with different chapters…

I tried to document our last meeting and put all the information I could remember after into the wiki. It is in the "Meeting Protocol" Section. Also I updated the schedule and think we should do it all the time - because last night I have not had the need to write you an email when we meet today, I just had a look into the wiki.

Hey guys.
I updated the wiki with a playtesting page where I posted the results of the first playtesting session.
Maybe someone could structure it some more with maybe som references to the individual tests in the top of the page. Can't get into it right now.
Testing was fun! And I really want to give you guys credit for the work you have done!! I am impressed :)

I made a draft for a new game pitch, which we will have to present for Miguel at some point, i'm not really sure when. Check it out at the concept page, and feel free to leave some feedback. =)

Mark

Wiki updated! New SCRUM section tracking all of our sprints. Cardboard updated according to latest sprint.

081010_Mark:

As promised Gry and I sat down thursday, discussing how to further the game concept. This resulted in an initial draft, which I, being my SCRUM task, revised and integrated with the Wiki. We essentially tried building upon allready semi-agreed decisions about the game, adding more yet retaining a hopefully tight design. Hopefully, this will help us structure the coming discussions about the game, having something to reference. Feel free to add or further develop the concept page. =)

We also managed to track down those slimey toys from the eighties, apparently called Snapper Hands. Gry will buy one, when she is visitting New York next week. Then we well flesh out concrete toy ideas. Have a continued nice weekend.

Regards,
Mark

081007_Paul:

  • I took the links from the main page. I did copy them all to the side panel but commented them out because I would suggest to create ONE page for all the topics (for me they are all concept related) with a Table of Content, because I think this gives a better overview then having to look at all the different sites. If I am misstaken and you meant good with it, the pages are still there and the Links are just made comments in the side panel. But plz have a look at the concept page before you get all cranky! We can do it with all the pages, but then we need a more elaborate way to organize these sites by doing a breadcrumb clustering and I though we could work around this for now.
  • Other then that I think we should use the Welcome page to collect Ideas we have for the development of the wiki and we could document major changes we did to the wiki here. What do you think?
  • Then I added a Protocol page where I think we should have somebody write down all the thoughts we have throughout one meeting.
  • Now there is this question if we want to create another page for all the sprints. We could debate about wether to do it on one page like I did the concept now or create one page for each sprint. But all we will do in a sprint will be written to the cardboard and documented in the Meeting protocol…
  • I don't know if we need an extra forum on this page - I guess not - but I set it up anyway (without any functionality right now). If you think it is needed, let me know I will look into it.
  • If you want to look into all the other possibilities like putting up pictures, videos or math formulars just have a short look into the "wiki syntax description" just below the editing window.
